Tired of paying ridiculous amounts for a duck lease every year or fighting the crowds at the public land entrance every morning? Now you can own your own duck hole within just a few miles of the public land where you can have all the ducks when they scare them off! This 80 acre tract is comprised of 2 abandoned fish ponds that have been converted into duck holes through a WRP program. It is located just off the southwest edge of Bayou Cocadrie Wildlife Refuge and is roughly 8 miles from the Mississippi River as the crow flies. The current owner and friends have had great duck hunts on this place every year and when I went to list the property there was a huge group of woodies that jumped off the water. Already in place are water control structures and a pump to control the water in and out of the ponds so the water can be drained in the spring/summer for planting food for the ducks to make the hunting just that much better.
